How to use:

Step 1: Set Up Your Trays

• Place the tray without holes on a flat surface
• Nest the tray with holes inside it
• This allows bottom watering and helps prevent overwatering and mould

 Always water from the bottom, not from the top

Step 2: Add Soil

• Fill the top tray with soil to about 2–2.5 cm deep
• Lightly level the surface
• Do not compact the soil

Step 3: Plant the Seeds

• Sprinkle seeds evenly over the soil surface

Recommendation

• Basil: thin, even layer
• Parsley: slightly spaced
• Do not bury seeds deeply
• Gently press seeds into the soil

Step 4: First Watering

• Pour clean water into the bottom tray only
• Allow soil to absorb moisture from below
• Empty excess water after 10–15 minutes if needed
• Do not flood the tray
•  Avoid top watering unless soil is completely dry

Step 5: Light & Position

• Place trays in bright, indirect sunlight
• A windowsill works well
• Avoid harsh midday sun in the early stages
• If seedlings stretch or lean, they need more light

Step 6: Daily Care

• Check moisture daily
• Soil should stay damp, not wet
• Refill bottom tray when soil begins to dry

Fertiliser use:

First 7 days: Water only

After day 7:

• Dilute 1 part Liquid Gold with 3 parts water
• Apply as a soil drench by pouring the diluted mixture over the roots of your plant or use as a foliar spray by misting the leaves with the diluted mixture in a spray bottle. 
• Mix Black Gold lightly into soil every 2–3 weeks for nutrients.

Recommended to use within 30 days of opening, as microbial activity and effectiveness may gradually decline.
For best results, store in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and keep the cap tightly sealed.

Use plant markers to:

• Identify each variety
• Track planting dates
• Avoid mix-ups during harvesting

Step 8: Harvest Time

Most greens are ready in 7–21 days

How to harvest:

• Use clean scissors
• Cut just above soil level
• Harvest only what you need (many varieties regrow)
• Best harvested in the morning
•  Rinse gently before use
